Whether something starts well or badly doesn't matter. What matters is your persistence and how dedicated you are to the work.
The successful people you see around you aren't successful because someone handed them a winning formula. There's probably no such formula that works for everyone. They're successful because they kept working despite difficult circumstances.
Usman Aslam is one of those people.
In his own words, he described just how much got in the way early on: "On the very first day of my Google Ads class, things were already difficult. My internet wasn't reliable, and there was a lot going on around my live sessions." He got into the habit of skipping the live classes and catching up through recordings instead, whenever he could manage it.
Then things got harder. In an incident he described in some detail, his phone was taken from him, along with access to WhatsApp, Google, and his classes. Getting a new SIM and phone sorted wasn't simple either; he eventually got it done with his younger sister's help. It happened more than once.
Even so, he finished his Facebook marketing course. From there, he committed to the work directly: 8 to 10 hours a day in front of his PC, studying other campaigns, implementing what he learned, and posting on Facebook daily to build his own agency.
That consistency is what eventually brought a client to him, not the other way around. A client reached out after seeing his Facebook content directly and handed him a project. It ran a few months and was worth more than Rs. 100,000.
His closing message says it best: "No matter how much time passes, no matter how big a setback comes, you have to respect your work and stay consistent. Results don't show up in a day or two. But once you start giving your work that respect, Inshallah, a day will come when your work gives that respect right back to you."
